Oct 9.-----Practice 2:00-3:00

Oct 10.---Practice 2:00-2:55 . (Coach Som needs to get to her daughter's parent teacher conference by 3:00)

Oct.15 ---Practice 2:00-3:00

Oct 16 --- NO PRACTICE

Oct. 17--- Championship at Arcata HealthSport!!!

MMS Cross Country

Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students

Welcome to the MMS Cross Country season! I am thrilled to be coaching this year’s team. As a lover of running, I look forward to getting to know your runner better and enjoying a fun-filled cross country season. I have attached this year’s schedule of meets. Please take note that most races will require students to get transportation outside of McKinleyville.

Here is some information regarding our upcoming season:

Everyone at MMS is welcome to be a part of our team
Students need to wear appropriate clothing and running shoes for every practice
Bringing a water bottle everyday is highly encouraged
Practices will be held from 3:30-4:40 every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (unless prior notice is given for a different time)
We will meet on the 8th grade field to start every practice
All runners are expected to follow the school rules: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible
Runners must meet eligibility requirements in order to practice and compete with the team
